Safeguarding & Well-Being Snapshot

We are committed to maintaining a safe and supportive coaching environment for every participant.

  • Trauma-informed approach  - coaches are trained to recognise stress triggers and adapt content to protect psychological safety.

  • Vulnerable-person safeguards - mandatory Working with Children / NDIS checks, plus immediate escalation protocols if a participant discloses harm or risk.

  • Zero-tolerance for harassment - any abusive or discriminatory behaviour ends the session and triggers a formal review.

  • Crisis pathway - if you show signs of acute distress, your coach will pause the session, offer immediate support options (e.g., Lifeline 13 11 14), and coordinate with your referring provider.

  • Confidentiality balance - personal disclosures stay private unless there is a serious and imminent risk to you or others, in which case we follow legal reporting obligations.

These safeguards ensure Agile Work Readiness remains a respectful, risk-aware space where you can build skills with confidence.

Coach Standards Snapshot
All Agile Work Readiness coaches are seasoned professionals with a minimum of 10 years’ industry or leadership experience plus recognised coaching or counselling training. Every coach must:

  • Hold valid clearances – Working with Children Check (or NZ equivalent) and annual national police check.

  • Maintain professional development – at least 20 hours per year in trauma-informed practice, diversity & inclusion, and up-to-date coaching techniques.

  • Follow strict privacy rules – no session recording, data shared only on a need-to-know basis, and compliance with our Privacy & Confidentiality Policy.

  • Uphold psychological safety – create judgement-free, respectful sessions and stop or reschedule if safety is compromised.

  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct – model respectful communication, avoid conflicts of interest, and report any safeguarding concern immediately.

These standards ensure every participant receives expert, confidential, and ethically delivered coaching.
